I'm loving the song, "Give Me" by Kirk Franklin ft. Mali Music! It really makes you think about the awesomeness of who God is. How He works and reveals Himself in our lives. And how we need Him. This song encourages you to hunger/thirst for more of Him. It just tickles your soul to say something (and feel that need for God) that's already been there all along: "Give me...God. Give me that joy I can't explain. Give me that extra peace that'll ease the pain...that hope and love that will never change...as much of You, oh God, that I can take!"
In a way I am reminded of Psalms 63:1-5... "1 You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. 2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. 4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. 5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you."
