From Life To Film | Happy 4th of July

I finally got a chance to take a much needed mini vacation out of town to visit family. The wanna be photographer in me couldn't resist taking pictures of the people, places, and things around me. The sad thing is, I only had my phone with me. The good thing is, my pictures came out pretty nice interesting if I say so myself. I really need to invest in a great camera asap...

I love the hands and feet of babies. This cute little hand belongs to my beautiful six month old cousin (2nd generation). You can't tell but she's pinching me! Ouch!

Simple and inexpensive holiday window decor that my aunt used to decorate her lovely back porch...

More cool decor my aunt used for the holiday festivities! She's a pro and my diy inspiration!

My aunt and uncle's gorgeous land...

More land...it goes on for miles and miles...simply beautiful!

I was keeping my head to the sky when I realized that so many trees where blocking my view.

The things in nature are so beautiful...these little beauties immediately caught my eye.

Yumm-o...my "famous" lemon pound cake. It was such a big hit at the holiday barbecue it was literally gone within just a few minutes.

I love this picture. It's my uncle's vintage Chevy GTO (for all you car buffs out there sorry if this isn't a Chevy GTO).

I couldn't resist the "airplane shot."

Me waking up from a great nap hence the over-the-head shot.
