Adding color to your home can create a bright and happy kind of feel. Those of you who are daring enough can infuse your entire home with a bright color palette. For those of you who aren't so adventurous...you can take the more conservative approach by including smaller touches of color that pop with excitement. Either way, bright and bold color palates are all the rage in interior design this year.

Accents
Using bright color as accents is a great way to begin integrating color into your home slowly. Don't be afraid to go bold, because with accents, there's only a small amount of color in the room/area. Therefore, the most effective accents must be eye-catching (i.e. hot pink, deep orange, bright green, etc.).

A bold pattern and a bright solid together is a great way to brighten up a room. Just make sure that the pattern and color compliment one another.

Mixing Colors
Mixing two bright color palettes together could be daring but the results can turn out spectacular if done tastefully and correctly. One way to successfully pair the right colors with one another is by using a color wheel. A color wheel is a tool used to determine if colors are complementary to one another. Colors that are across from each other are contrasting/complementary (i.e. pink and blue or orange and green).
