There’s a part of me that has a love for a bit of sparkle and shine in my wardrobe every now and then (especially for this fall). I like the idea of having a little sequin or beading to make an item of clothing my one key statement piece. I know what you're thinking beading…sequin…that’s a little dated isn’t it? Well if you pair the shimmer and shine with other items of clothing that are subdued, classic, and basic you’ll have a look that gently pops but still looks great.
Key Tips to Remember When Adding Sequin/Beading Into Your Wardrobe:
(1) Choose an item of clothing that is not totally covered in sequin/beading, just accented.
(2) Choose an item of clothing that is completely covered in sequin/beading but choose a neutral color palette(i.e. all black, all cream, all gray, all navy)
